Polishing for a Defined Outcome
A polished appearance is not a substitute for a measurable surface finish. For stainless, carbon, alloy and suitable specialty metal bars, we review polishing requirements together with the supplied material condition, previous grinding operations and the end use.
Finished Roughness
Quote the target Ra or RMS value and the measurement method required by the drawing.
Surface Condition
Call out unacceptable scratches, pits, cosmetic conditions or handling marks.
Dimensional Control
Tell us the finished OD limits; polishing can affect diameter and must be planned with grinding.

Combine Grinding, Polishing and Protective Packing
We can review centerless grinding before polishing to establish finished OD, with straightness correction where appropriate. Saw cutting, edge preparation and packaging can be incorporated into the same order rather than creating separate service pages for each step.
